A Lead is a basic information captured in LeadX platform. A Lead in LeadX contains basic information about the Lead along with Company, Contact person, Lead Value, Lead Value currency etc.

A Lead can be Closed as Won or Lost in LeadX Platform. A Lead can also be Parked in LeadX platform if there is no major activity related to the Lead

The term Lead can be a potential new customer or existing Customer having specific requirement. Leads usually contains piece of requirement and contact and Company information

You can capture following information while capturing the Lead information

Lead Title *

The Title or description information of Lead

Basic / Professional / Manager

Company *

The name of the company

LeadX 2.0 onward, the Company is automatically added to the LeadX database after user enters the company that is not present in LeadX

Contact Person

Name of the contact person associated with the Company

LeadX 2.0 onward, the Contact is automatically added to the LeadX database after user enters the contact that is not present in LeadX

Contact Person Phone number

Contact phone number of the contact person

LinkedIn Profile

The LinkedIn Profile URL of the contact person that is associated with the Lead

Browse button

A Browse button to upload documents or images along with the Lead

You can upload upto 6 files or image

Currently, .jpg, .png, .doc, .ppt, .pdf formats are supported

In LeadX 2.0 Mobile Application a Capture button is also displayed to Capture photo of the person or the Business Card to save as image with the Lead

Hand over to sales? button

This button is only available to Basic User. This button allows basic user to capture the Lead Information and hand over the Lead to Sales team for further Lead Life-cycle

The Lead is not made available to the Sales Team till Creator of the Lead clicks on Hand over to sales button

Once Hand over to sales button is clicked then the Lead is made available in the My Pipeline of the Manager User. Manager can assign the Lead to self of to any other Professional User

The Lead Handover process is only available for Basic user who is usually a Non-Sales user of the organization associated with other departments of the Organization

Pipeline Stage

Pipeline stage defines the stages of the Lead. LeadX provides below Pipeline stages

  • New ( The Default Pipeline Stage if the Lead is generated by Basic User)

  • Lead

  • Opportunity

  • Proposal

  • Negotiation

  • Closed

    • Won

    • Lost

The Lead has following Sub stages

  • Parked : The Lead can be kept in Parked state if no work is happening on Lead

  • Lost : This state can only be selected if the Lead is in Closed Stage

  • Won: This state can only be selected if the Lead is in Closed Stage

Expected Closing Date

The Lead expected closing date can be captured using this parameter

Category

The Lead category can be chosen from the existing Categories or a New Category can be entered using Category parameter

If the category entered by user is not already present then a New Category is automatically created and associated with the Lead

The Default Category provided by LeadX platform is “Product/Service”

Lead Value

Enter the Value of the Lead in this parameter. This parameter can be kept blank if lead Value is not known.

The Lead Value contributes to the Organizational Revenue only if the associated Lead is closed in the Won State and Lead value is not confidential

Lead Value Currency

Choose the Lead Value Currency from the list of currencies provided in this dropdown.

The currencies provided in this drop-down are entered in the Organizational Information during the On-boarding of the customer

The Currency value mentioned in any Non Base Currency is converted to Base Currency, then calculated and displayed in the reports

Is Lead Value Confidential button

The buttons display “Yes” and “No” information. If “Yes” then the Lead Value is not displayed in any notifications or feeds. If “No” then the Lead Value is displayed in notifications and feeds

These set of buttons are only enabled if Lead Value is entered for the Lead

Lead Source

Select the Lead Source from pre-defined list of Lead Sources

  • Social Media

  • Sponsorships

  • Traditional Advertising

  • Website

  • Lead Generator can select other user’s name and hand over the lead
