Sales Activity

LeadX Platform provides user a feature to add a Sales Activity or a Lead Sales Activity. The basic difference between Sales Activity and Lead Sales Activity is that Lead Sales Activity is always associated with a Lead, however, Sales Activity can be associated with a Lead or not.

Lead Sales Activity

Lead Sales Activity as a type of Activity which can be added by Lead Owner for a specific Lead

Usually, the user can add following types of Lead Sales Activities

  • Email

  • Meeting

  • Other

The Sales Activity allows user to create planned event which is associated with a Lead and can be viewed in the Activities

Only Professional User or Manager User has access to generate Lead Sales Activities or Sales Activities

To create Lead Sales Activity

  • Login to LeadX web application or Mobile App using valid User Credentials

  • Go to My Pipeline

    • On Web, click on My Pipeline present in the left Menu Panel

    • On Mobile, Click on the My Pipeline button present at the bottom of the mobile

  • Select the desired Lead to update

  • The Update Popup or screen is displayed

  • To add new Event

    • Scroll to the bottom of the popup or page

    • Click on + sign present in the header of Planned Events box to open Create Event popup

    • You can add event as

      • Lead Sales Activity

      • Lead Task

      • Note

    • To add new Event

      • Click Lead Sales Activity button

      • Enter the necessary information and click Save

  • The Lead detailed screen is displayed with basic information about the lead

  • The screen displays three sections Planned Events, History and Notes to show existing events, history information and Notes information

  • To add new Event

    • Click Add new sales activity button present under Planned events

    • A New Sales Activity screen is displayed

    • Enter the necessary information

    • Enter Date and Time to plan the event

    • click Save

To create Sales Activity

  • Login to LeadX web application or Mobile App using valid User Credentials

  • Go to Activities

    • On Web, click on Activities present in the left Menu Panel

    • On Mobile, Click on the Activities button present at the bottom of the mobile

  • To Create Sales Activity

  • To add new Sales Activity

    • Click on + sign present in the header of Sales Activities box to open Create New Sales Activity

    • Select sales activity

      • Email

      • Meeting

      • Other

    • Enter Company or Select Company

    • On selection of existing Company

      • The Contact person box is enabled and you can select contact person

      • If there are any Leads present for the selected company then Lead Title box is enabled and you can select a Lead

    • Select the date and time

    • If Lead is selected in Lead Title then the Sales Activity is saved as Lead Sales Activity

    • Enter the other information such as note and click Save

  • To add new Sales Activity

    • Click on + Add new sales activity sign present in the Sales Activities section to open Create New Sales Activity

    • Select sales activity

      • Email

      • Meeting

      • Other

    • Enter Company or Select Company

    • On selection of existing Company

      • The Contact person box is enabled and you can select contact person

      • If there are any Leads present for the selected company then Lead Title box is enabled and you can select a Lead

    • Select the date and time

    • If Lead is selected in Lead Title then the Sales Activity is saved as Lead Sales Activity

      • Enter the other information such as note and click Save
